Two Generations of Songs. One Faithful God.

A Community Event at New Vision Baptist Church

Sunday, November 29 • Everyone Is Welcome!

Some of us grew up standing beside our parents and grandparents in church, sharing a hymnbook and singing words that have stayed with us all our lives. Even now, an old hymn can bring back a memory, stir our hearts, and remind us how faithful God has been. At 5 PM, we’d love for you to join us and sing those songs together again. With a live band and choir, we’ll spend a full hour enjoying the old hymns—and your voice is part of what will make it special.

At 6 PM, we’ll gather around the tables for a taco bar with dessert, visit with one another, and enjoy being together. Taco bar tickets are $20 to help send our New Vision Youth to camp. Then, at 7 PM, our youth will lead us in an hour of contemporary worship. Just as those old hymns have found a home in our hearts, these newer songs are finding a home in theirs. Out of hearts full of gratitude, we’ll join our voices with theirs to praise the same faithful God.

That’s our hope for this evening: families, friends, neighbors, and generations coming together, encouraging our young people and worshiping the Lord. Both concerts are free and open to everyone. A voluntary love offering will be received to support youth camp, and tickets are needed only for the taco bar and dessert.

Make an evening of it. Bring someone you love, reconnect with an old friend, and help us make some new memories together. There’s a place for you—and we’d love to hear you singing beside us.
