Everybody Wants To Live A Better Story

We are story driven creatures by design and are hard-wired to need a life that has meaning and experiences belonging. Some suggest that there are six stories that have shaped the world from it's inception, each offering some dimension of meaning and belonging yet each of them creating some form of an "us vs them" world with only "win/lose" outcomes. The way of Jesus presents an alternative story with a "win/win" outcome. But is it realistic and achievable?

As Jesus concludes his earthly ministry, he calls on his community of followers to live out what he's taught them and invite others into that experience as they go about their daily lives. What was it about these people of "the Way" that within the next 300 years enabled them to have an impact of such magnitude that it transformed the known world to a degree never seen before... or since? More importantly, what would it take for that to happen today?
