One of Newlife's eight core values is Passionate Outreach. 'Convicted that Jesus commands us to proclaim the gospel in word and deed to a world that is broken and hurting, we will live not to please ourselves, but to please God as we seek to reach the lost.' In this message, Stu Cameron offers 7 compelling reasons why we are so passionate about mission.

Stories From Cambodia • November 24, 2013 • Ralph Mayhew
It was so good to be back at 12two for my first night in the new building. I felt to share about my recent 2 weeks trip to Cambodia, but in particular how God’s movement calls us into discipleship, and discipleship needs to result in faith filled action. Discipleship isn’t just learning more and more head knowledge, and it’s not doing good things or being a good person. Discipleship is journeying with God and others past the point where our possible finishes and into God’s impossible. Below are the three segments I shared. Three stories of what unfolded for us over there, and how they speak to our setting here in Robina. It culminated in daring to ask God that he might perform a miracle for us. People came forward to find healing, wisdom, encouragement and a host of others things and God really delivered. If you couldn’t be there I trust these stories might enable you to surrender to God and for Him to start stirring in your life.

Don’t tell God how Big your storm is; tell the storm how Big your God is. Keep you eyes on the Lord and your heart full of thanksgiving and see how He magnifies His power in you.

Victor Hugo's epic book drips with the gospel. This message explores the thread of grace that runs right through the main plot. This sermon draws heavily on a fantastic message preached by John Ortberg preached at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church earlier this year.
