In partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, New Life's Food Pantry launched in 2014 and has seen exponential growth since its birth. On average, our pantry feeds 400-600 families per month and partners with the depository each November to provide over a thousand families a Thanksgiving Dinner. According to the American Community Survey Census Data, more than half of the population in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing Community lives below 185% of the federal poverty line. Families in need within the community are invited to visit the Pantry (7757 S. Greenwood Ave) on Thursdays from 12p - 2p and 4p-6p! Shop for food items completely free!
