Nancy Beach

Leaning in & leaning on • May 19, 2019 • Nancy Beach

Nancy inspired us as she dug deep into Judges 4, drawing from the life and wisdom of Deborah and creatively communicated valuable lessons which we could apply to our lives. We must LEAN IN & rise up to the call of God on our lives but first we must LEAN ON our God - to be a worshipper before a warrior. She also drew from the supporting men in Deborah’s life Barak and Lappidoth. Barak a man of God, humble and respectful of Deborah and Lappidoth, a secure man who sought to see Deborah fly. This is an example of the power of men and women working together with mutual respect, honor, and humility.

God's Big Story

We were delighted to hear from one of our church elders, Dr Daniel Pampuch on Sunday as he shared about God's big story. We have something the world desperately needs which is hope. And that hope is found in Jesus Christ. CS Lewis says, "Hope is one of the Theological virtues. This means that a continual looking forward to the eternal world is not (as some modern people think) a form of escapism or wishful thinking, but one of the things a Christian is meant to do."
