Dr. Linda Willis is a native of Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of LeMoyne-Owen College where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. Dr. Willis earned her Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Memphis. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Memphis Theological Seminary.
Dr. Linda, and her husband, Bishop Kevin B. Willis, Sr. are the founders and pastors of New Life of Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Linda is an author and has written and published three books entitled, "Sisterfriends - Words of Encouragement, Empowerment from One Sister to Another and "Pregnant with Potential." Dr. Linda has also had her sermon work featured in "The African American Pulpit Journal."
Dr. Linda is gifted to develop and empower believers from all walks of life. She has a deep passion for the issues and challenges that face women and has used various formats such as radio and newspaper to be a voice of change. Dr. Linda is recognized as a powerful preacher, and role model with a gift for reaching people of all ages. Dr. Linda has been a motivating force in the lives of many women across the nation.
Dr. Linda is a much sought after preacher, teacher, and counselor. Moreover, her gift has made room for her, allowing her to minister on national platforms to thousands of people. It has been her privilege to serve at various church revivals, women's conferences, marriage seminars. She is a special gift to the body of Christ. Her source of motivation and strength is found in Matthew 19:26, wherein it says "with God, all things are possible."
Dr. Linda Willis and Pastor Kevin Willis are the parents of two adult children: Kelli Nicole and Kevin, Jr.
