Thankfulness, Part 5

The Philistines heard a great shout in the camp & declared "Woe are we." They knew by the shout that God was in the camp & that they were doomed. Our enemy knows that God is in the camp by the praise that is going forth out of God's people. So much is riding on our praise! Think about being so yielded in praise, that you could be the vessel through which the Lord would ride in on.

This journey is not about magnifying our name. We are on this journey to take on His name & make everything all about Him! We must empty ourselves everyday so that we can be refilled daily with the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we must walk through humiliation to become humble. We must first descend so that we can ascend & sit with Him in His throne & wear His name!

High praise is offered with greater determination & with greater intensity than ordinary praise. As Moses was coming out of Egypt he led the children of Israel in a song of praise. Sometimes we must sing out our praise & sometimes we need to add movement into our praise too & then we will see the atmosphere shifting. The key to giving is giving with purpose, so the key to praising is praising with intent.

Depending on your environment, being thankful is not always a natural state of mind. Thankfulness often comes after experiencing lack. But we have to find a different kind of praise, a praise not based on circumstances, a High Praise. Every true child of God has the ability, the honor, the gifting to allow our praise to be something that executes the righteous justice of God on planet earth. When we use our praise to express our gratitude to God it becomes a weapon that pushes the enemy farther back in our lives. It causes him to retreat. Praise creates an atmosphere for God's power to show up. High praise is praise that is not in any way affected by what is going on in the moment. High praise is getting above what we are going through to praise. That is the praise we must find.

The fixed law of God is that the seed you sow will determine your harvest. It is time for us to carefully decide the seed we will sow that will determine the fruits in the coming season. We must be certain that we sow our seed with purpose, but don't worry if you have thrown your seed at a problem, there is still time to redeem your "thrown" seed! Sometimes it seems as if we sow & sow & don't see the harvest, but don't worry, just cast your net & believe for the return!

Have you sown your time, finances, tears, prayers & seen no return? Now is the time to lay claim on our harvest! We have missed out on our harvest because we didn't understand principles that God wanted us to step up & claim. Instead of seeing ourself dropping money in an offering plate, we must see ourself in a field that has been broken & is ready to receive seed. It is our field & we are responsible for the harvest we are going to get. If we give of ourselves with the right attitude, with a pure heart, the windows of Heaven will be opened up & we will receive blessings that we cannot contain! We must know what we are entitled to & sow with purpose so that that we can reap the harvest. Sow your seed with a right spirit, name your seed, & see the harvest come about!
Sowing with a Purpose, Part 2
