God has given us His checkbook, signed with the Blood of His Own Son. He is inviting us, as we continue to abide in Him, to ask of Him everything we have need of in this life.
"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7).

Thankfulness

We have so many reasons to be thankful - from the nation that we live in and the freedoms we enjoy, to the salvation and complete redemption the Lord Jesus has purchased on our behalf. Certainly, many of us have situations in our life that our less than ideal, but we serve a faithful God Who has promised to provide for every need in our lives - we need only to give thanks.
