Day of Atonement

Leviticus 16:1-34

March 22, 2020 • Jeremy Berry, Will Basham • Leviticus 16

"Unfinished Business" is our sermon series through Leviticus. "Day of Atonement" is the twelfth sermon in this series. The day of atonement was a once-a-year event for Israel to have atonement for their sins corporately. While sacrifices and ceremonies facilitate personal worship and atonement throughout the year, there was a need for corporate atonement as well. The sacrifice and removal of sin annually led God’s people to long for a once and for all atonement that was fulfilled in Jesus. Caring For Land & People

May 6, 2020 • Jeremy Berry, Will Basham • Leviticus 25

"Unfinished Business" is our sermon series through Leviticus. "Caring For Land & People" is the twenty-third sermon in this series. The people of Israel were to care for the land that God was giving them and they were also to care for humanity. The principle being taught is that we honor the good things that God has given us but we reserve worship for God alone.
