It hurts the heart of God when He sees Christians try to live for the world AND for Jesus. Our value is sealed by the Holy Spirit and will reveal truth and guide us. Stop resisting the Holy Spirit!
As Christians, our words should be used to help, not hurt others. What negative or abusive words have you used this week? Speak words that help and encourage others to live like Jesus. Our words should build people up and point them to Jesus. Speak life into people today!

What does it look like to live for Jesus? To be like Jesus, we should not lie. There are potential consequenses of lying, be open and honest with others. There are many benefits to telling the truth. Living for Jesus means bringing love, grace, and healing to His body.
We are to put off our old self. If we are made new, does that mean that Jesus is more powerful than the world? God gives us the mind of Christ. Put on your new self through connecting with Jesus. We were created to be like Jesus and live like Jesus.
People in Ephesus wanted to hold onto their old ways. People today want to live for the world AND Jesus. Instead of becoming addicted to sin, we need to choose to live for Jesus. Are you living for the world, Jesus, or both?
