From Glory to Glory — Trusting God Through Endings and New Beginnings Introduction One of the hardest things in life is when something ends. A relationship ends. A door closes. A business slows down. A season we loved suddenly changes. Our human tendency is to look backward and ask why. Don’t get stuck looking back, trying to figure it all out. “Why didn’t this work out? Why did they treat me this way; why did my business slow down? Just keep moving forward, honoring God, knowing that it was a necessary ending. God wouldn’t have stopped it if He didn’t have something better coming. How long did you fight god on it not to end- When all along he wanted it to… Are you fighting endings, bitter over what God stopped, discouraged over what didn’t last? What if you knew that it had to happen? Even though it felt like a bad break, it was God leading you into the fullness of your destiny Here’s the key- But God often allows one level to end because He is moving us into a greater level of glory. 📖 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 …and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is-liberty. 18 But we all, with an unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, God does not move us from glory to defeat. From New To Old- He moves us from glory to greater glory. Sometimes what feels like a loss is actually divine transition. 1 GOD ENDS A SEASON TO BEGIN A GREATER ONE Sometimes the hardest part of faith is accepting that a season has ended. God closes doors not to harm us — but to position us for something greater. 📖 Isaiah 43:18–19 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” God told Israel: Stop making your start from What was — Because I’m about to do something new He told us not to remember because He Gives Us The Power to do so~ Joseph Joseph had dreams from God, but then his life fell apart. He was: Betrayed by his brothers Sold into slavery Falsely accused Thrown into prison Every stage looked like a terrible ending. But every ending was actually God moving Joseph into position. So it might not look good right now for your dreams But God is Not Finished Tell Someone God Is Just Setting You Up~ Some People want to say God is Not Fair` Because they cannot see all God Is Doing~ Ecc. 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. 📖 Genesis 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Joseph’s pit was not his burial place — it was his transportation system to destiny. You might be frustrated because something ended: A job A relationship A ministry opportunity A season of favor But what if that ending was actually God redirecting your life? Sometimes God ends what we would have held onto too long. 2 GOD SEES WHAT WE CANNOT SEE We often think every closed door is a disappointment. But God sees what lies ahead. 📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 l “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Sometimes the path God directs includes stopping things. The Red Sea Israel thought they were trapped. Behind them: Pharaoh’s army. In front of them: the Red Sea. 📖 Exodus 14:13 And Moses SAID to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. The Enemies you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. What looked like the end of their journey was actually the doorway to freedom… The Red Sea wasn’t a dead end. It was a divine setup. New Testament Illustration Paul’s Closed Door 📖 Acts 16:6–7 …they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. the Spirit did not permit them to continue to preach in Asia at the time` God shut those doors. Why? Because He was sending Paul to Macedonia, where the Gospel would explode into Europe… Closed doors often mean: God is redirecting the assignment. Practical Life Application Sometimes we pray: “God open this door.” But God answers: “No, because I have something better ahead 3 LOOKING BACK WILL KEEP YOU STUCK Many people never step into their next season of glory because they are still mentally living in their last season. They keep replaying what happened: Rerun after rerun “Why did that relationship end? They can’t go where He is taking you - “Why didn’t that opportunity work out?” “Why did they treat me that way?” “Why did my business slow down?” But the problem with constantly looking back is that it steals your forward momentum. God cannot lead you into what is ahead if your heart and mind are anchored in what is behind. The Apostle Paul understood this very clearly. Philippians 3:13–14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward… Paul had to put his old successes to an end One level of glory may come to an end, so you can step into the greater glory… So what do you want to step into? Pray and Seek The Lord~ 4 GOD’S DOORWAY TO GREATER GLORY When God allows something to end, it is not the end of your story — it is the transition to the next level of glory. Sometimes we see an ending as loss, ‘ but God sees it as preparation. 📖 Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. God works through seasons. Winter Spring Summer & Fall` What was right for one season may not be right for the next… Sometimes we try to hold onto what God has already finished. -But if God ends something, it means He has already prepared the next GLORY. ———————————————— Elijah and Elisha Two great prophets! Elijah’s ministry came to an end, but it was not a loss — it was a transfer of greater glory… 📖 2 Kings 2:9 “And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?’ Elisha said, ‘Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me. 2 Kings 2:11–12 “Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven… And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen- Elijah’s ending was Elisha’s beginning. One level of glory ended — a greater one began... Elisha’s did twice as many recorded miracles- God Takes Us From Glory TO Glory Not Trial To Trial~ Wrong perspective~ The cross Illustration Jesus and the Cross The disciples thought the cross was the end. Their hopes were crushed. Their expectations collapsed. But what looked like the greatest defeat became the greatest victory in human history… 📖 John 12:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” The cross Might appeared and looked like an ending — But it produced The Resurrection glory… 📖 Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Practical Life Application Some of you are standing at what feels like an ending: A door closed A relationship changed A business slowed A season shifted But what if God is simply saying: “That level of glory is complete. 'Now I’m taking you higher.” 1 Cor. 2:9 …Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.. 10But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. God does not take you from glory to defeat He takes you from glory to glory. Stop fighting the endings God allowed. Stop trying to resurrect seasons God has finished. Stop looking backward. God is saying today: “Trust Me with the transition.” The pit took Joseph to the palace. The Red Sea took Israel to freedom. The cross led to resurrection. And the ending you’re facing may be the very thing God is using to launch you into your next level of glory. 📖 Isaiah 61:3 “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” That is YOUR PROMISE~ Let go of the ashes of the past- Put on the Beauty- Put on the JOY of the Lord- SMILE- Put in the garment of Praise- Closing Declaration God is not finished with you. Your story did not end in the last season. You are still moving forward. You are still being transformed. You are going from glory… to glory. 🙌

Guard the Truth — Stay Strong in the Last Days The Church Must Be Steady in Unsteady Times We do not fold in times of adversity~ Church, we are living in a time where truth is constantly being challenged. Right is being called wrong. Wrong is being celebrated as right. Confusion is increasing Deception is spreading But the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy about this exact kind of season. Timothy was a young pastor leading a church in a culture filled with pressure, false teaching, and moral compromise. And Paul told him something powerful: The answer to a confused world is a strong church. Not a trendy church… Not a popular church… But a truth-standing, Spirit-filled, godly church. And Paul gives Timothy four powerful instructions that still apply to us today. 1 GOD CARES MORE ABOUT CHARACTER THAN PLATFORM 📖 1 Timothy 3:1–2 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop he desires a good work A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach. Notice something. Paul doesn’t begin with talent. He begins with character. Today the world celebrates platforms. God celebrates faithfulness. God is not looking for perfect people — but He is looking for people whose hearts belong to Him. 📖 1 Timothy 3:7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Your life must preach outside the church as well as inside the church. 🔥 Anybody can look spiritual on Sunday. But real Christianity shows up Monday morning… God is raising up people whose lives say: “I will live for Christ in private and in public.” POINT 2 THE CHURCH IS THE PILLAR OF TRUTH 📖 1 Timothy 3:15 …the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth A pillar holds something up. The church is called to hold up the truth of God's Word in a confused world. Culture says truth is relative. God says truth is revealed. 📖 John 17:17 “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” Listen to what Paul says. 📖 1 Timothy 3:15 “But if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” The House of God The Church The Pillar and Ground Of The Truth~ Eph. 2:18 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of The household of God It’s Your Position where you are a part of! Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching… It Is (mortal sin) to willfully skip Church, as it is the foundation of Our faith and a direct command to keep the Lord's Day holy~ It is a vital weekly renewal of the covenant with God and a necessary act of worship not just a recommendation Holy Communion as often as we come together~ weekly, gatherings of the early church in Corinth, as described in 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, where they shared meals and observed the Lord's Supper. Paul corrects their misuse of these gatherings, emphasizing the need for unity and remembrance of Christ's sacrifice, rather than selfish, divisive behavior The church is not meant to blend into culture. The church is meant to hold up truth when culture collapses. When Believers reject and neglect their Kingdom of God Source~ Not culture's opinion. Not political trends. Not social media voices. God's Word is truth. 🔥 The church must never become an echo of culture. The church must remain a voice of truth… Culture will tell you Sin is No longer Sin! They twist the truth~ Twisting the Truth doesn’t change it or bring condemnation~ God Gave His Word TO Save you~ Inspire of humanities options Romans 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the [men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Don’t tell me It’s Ok when God says from Geniuses to Revelation It’s Wrong Because when truth disappears, society collapses. But when truth is lifted high, lives are transformed. 3 SPIRITUAL DECEPTION WILL INCREASE Paul gives a prophetic warning. 📖 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. Notice the phrase: “The Spirit expressly says.” This is not speculation. This is prophecy. Christians are being deceived by doctrines of devils~ Paul says there will be people who once believed truth — but will drift away from it. Why? Because deception will increase. 📖 Matthew 24:11 “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” We are seeing it in our generation. People are redefining truth. People are rewriting Scripture. People are creating a Christianity with no repentance, no conviction, and no transformation. But church — that is not the gospel. 🔥The gospel still says: Jesus saves. Jesus transforms. Jesus delivers. And the truth still sets people free… 4 TRAIN YOURSELF TO BE GODLY Paul now shifts from warning to instruction. 1 Tim 4:7–8 … exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. Paul uses the language of training. Just as you exercise Your Body, You Discipline Your Body~ Discipline Your Soul! Spiritual strength does not happen accidentally. You grow spiritually through: • prayer • Scripture • worship • obedience • fellowship Well I Just a Young Person~ This is YOUR TIME TO REACH THOUSANDS ~ 📖 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Your life should be an example. Not perfection. But authenticity. 🔥 The world trains people for success. But God trains believers for eternity. Because success on earth is temporary. But godliness carries reward forever. A Basket ball A baseball A Football A soccer ball A degree Can not be your ticket to heaven Eternity Is Real Heaven Is Real Hell is real ~ CONCLUSION Paul closes with this powerful instruction. 📖 1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. Guard your life. Guard the truth. Guard the calling God has placed on you. Because in a confused generation, God is looking for believers who will stand strong and shine bright.

No Bad Days

NO MORE BAD DAYS My neighbor has a decal on his truck that says “No Bad Days” It made me think! Bad Moments Are bound to happen — But Bad days are optional. I want to talk to you today about something that every single one of us faces: The certainty of bad moments. We all have opportunities to get upset. We all have opportunities to be offended. We all have opportunities to worry. Sometimes it’s small things. Traffic. A rude comment. A coworker who leaves you out. Sometimes it’s big things. A contract didn’t go through. A medical report wasn’t good. A relationship ended. A loved one passed away. No matter how strong your faith is… No matter how long you’ve walked with God… You will face bad moments. But here’s the truth: Bad moments are certain. Bad days are optional. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond. You cannot stop a bad moment from coming — but you do not have to let it turn into a bad day. —————— 1. YOU CONTROL YOUR JOY Jesus said in John 16:22 Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you… Notice what He said: “No one will take your joy.” Joy is not taken — it is surrendered. You give up your decision to stay in a place of receptivity Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. It does not say… If everything goes right. It says, We will rejoice. Rejoicing is not a reaction — it is a decision... And here’s where we have to grow up spiritually: You are not called to be a thermometer. You are called to be a thermostat. A thermometer reflects the temperature of the room. If the room is cold, it shows cold. If the room is hot, it shows hot. But a thermostat sets the temperature. Believers are not thermometers reacting to every emotional shift in the room. We are thermostats setting the atmosphere. The fruit of the Spirit Is Self Control If you are w born again child of God You have THIS YOU CAN STABILIZE YOURSELF Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. If people are negative — we bring peace. If people are offended — we bring grace. If the environment is tense — we bring calm. Don’t be one who pours gas on A burning fire… You do not reflect the temperature Don’t jump on the band wagon You regulate it ————— If you don’t set your joy in the morning your circumstances will set your mood for you by the afternoon You wake up and decide: “This will be a good day. Not because everything is perfect — but because God made it.” 2 PROCESS IT BUT DON’T LET IT LINGER Now hear me carefully. I am not telling you to deny pain. There is a time to grieve. Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who morn for they will be comforted 🙏 There is a time to process. BUT!!! We don’t stay don't stuck- Ephesians 4:26–27 “Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.” You may have a bad moment. You may have a bad hour. You may even have a bad morning. But don’t let it follow you into tomorrow. You have to speak to it` SAY You are not following me~ Mercy is Following me all the days of my life All things are working for Good Duet 33:25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be. PSALM 23a I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever Mark 11:23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says… Jesus said Speak to the Mountain~ and It Will Obey You~ YOU ARE CALLING THE SHOTS- The Shots are not calling you! Joel 3:10 Let the Weak say I am Strong! YOU HAVE TO RISE UP~ Because what lingers takes root. If you go to bed offended- you wake up colder. If you go to bed bitter, you wake up heavier. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” That bad moment did not cancel your destiny. It did not override God’s purpose. Process it. Reframe it. Release it. Then move forward. 3 REFRAME THE MOMENT THROUGH FAITH Habakkuk 3:17–18 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Everything in Our Eyes Don’t have to look perfect He listed everything that went wrong. Then he said, “Yet.” That word “yet” is faith talking. Joy is not denial- it is defiance. It is standing in the middle of contradiction and saying: “This will not define me.” You can say: Yes this disappointed me — yet I will rejoice.” “Yes, this hurt — yet I will rejoice.” Yes, I didn’t expect this — yet I will rejoice.” You are not a thermometer reacting to every setback. You are a thermostat declaring: This atmosphere will not control me. 4 PRAISE SHIFTS THE ATMOSPHERE Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Paul wrote that from prison… Acts 16:25–26 “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake… and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” They were beaten. Locked up. Bruised and bleeding. But they refused to let a bad moment become a bad day. At midnight — they praised. And the atmosphere shifted. Thermometers react. Thermostats change the environment. When you praise in the middle of pain, you reset the spiritual climate. Some of you need to stop reflecting your problem and start regulating your atmosphere. — SET THE TEMPERATURE Lamentations 3:22–23 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Every morning is mercy. When you lay your head down tonight, you should be able to say: “This was a good day.” Even if it had hard moments. Even if it had tears. Even if it didn’t go as planned. Bad moments are certain. Bad days are optional. God is With you and for you! Proverbs 10:22 The blessings of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. The Enemy plays on your emotions with smokescreens of Disappointment Fear Past Failures Past Loses Past Relationships gone bad~ constantly reappearing You have the power to STOP IT! Don’t give it fuel~ Whatsoever is Lovely Pure dwell on these things~ Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, (God’s WORD) whatever is noble JESUS whatever is right, (GOD IS FOR YOU) whatever is pure God’s Love For You Is Pure) whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think on theses such things- You are not a thermometer reacting to life. You are a thermostat setting the spiritual temperature of your day. You chose what you dwell on~ And I declare over YOU You will not be defined by moments. You will not surrender your joy. You will regulate your atmosphere. You will rejoice always. No more bad days. In Jesus’ name. If you receive it, say Amen
