Rejected by the "chosen ones", yet visited by the angel of the Lord twice, Hagar and her son Ishmael become objects of grace in this story in the textbook of Genesis. God's story of blessing "those rejected by God" reveals His heart for all humanity and further solidifies our reason for hope in His good character.
