Since 2007, BeRich churches like ours have served over 400,000 hours with over 700 exceptional nonprofits and communities around the globe. Volunteering makes a difference. When you serve with a nonprofit, you help them accomplish more as well as communicate value and dignity to those they serve. That’s why we want to give you an opportunity to do more and give more—good things happen through you when you prioritize serving others. The name Be Rich comes from 1 Timothy 6 in which Paul tells a young leader named Timothy: “Command those who are rich in this present world . . . to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share” (v 17–18).

Be Rich is an annual generosity campaign to mobilize the church to extraordinary generosity and selfless service. The name is inspired by 1 Timothy 6:17–18: “Command those who are rich in this present world . . . to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”
