We cannot control what difficulties may come our way. But we can control what we choose to believe is true about us. When we receive God’s blessing over our lives here and now, it can shape future moments and change the trajectory of lives and the lives of those around us.

Our behavior doesn’t determine or shape God’s love for us. He is already pleased with who we are because we are his. As we believe this and act out of it, what we do and how we see ourselves and others changes. When we believe this, it frees us to live out of the blessing and pass it on to others.
Fathers Day

There is something in all of us that desires affirmation from our dads. If we don’t receive it, we often go looking for it . . . sometimes in all the wrong places. Some of us received this blessing. Some of us didn’t. For some of us, the voice of our fathers is gone. The good news is that we can all receive a blessing from our heavenly Father today, no matter who we are or what our past experiences have been. This could change everything—not only for us, but also for those that follow in our footsteps.
