21 Days Of Prayer

Day 21 - Sunday, October 24th

October 24, 2021

Week 3 // Revive The House // Psalm 85 Our FUTURE “Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” As we consider the days to come, remember today that righteousness prepares the way for our future. We cannot know what the future holds, but we can be confident that living in right relationship with God is the key to staying in the center of God’s will and purpose. The Lord orders the steps of the righteous! How Do I Pray? P R A Y The Bible shows us that prayer will often include our thanksgiving, repentance, adoration, and requests. The following acronym using the word PRAY has given helpful direction to many people: Praise: God first deserves our worship and thanks. We take joy in who He is, what He has done, and what He has promised to do. Repent: We give time for God to search our hearts, careful to turn away from anything that might get in the way of a right relationship with Him. Ask: Mindful of what we understand to be God’s will, we bring our requests to God, trusting that He is able to meet any need. Yield: We remember that God is wiser than us, and so we submit our desires and requests to him and trust Him no matter what. Philippians 4:6-7 “Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Day 20 - Saturday, October 23rd

P R A Y The Bible shows us that prayer will often include our thanksgiving, repentance, adoration, and requests. Week 3 // Revive The House // Psalm 85 Our FORGIVENESS “Restore us again, God our Savior.” God’s desire is to do more than just release us from the penalty of sin. His desire is to restore us to our place in his family. Remember how the Prodigal Son was not only forgiven by his father, but restored to his place in the family. Day 15 - Monday, October 18th

October 18, 2021

Week 3 // Revive The House // Psalm 85 Our HOUSE “You, Lord, showed favor to your land.” “No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.” God’s favor means that he treats us better than we deserve. Our lives are built on a foundation of God’s favor. Our church is built on a foundation of God’s goodness. Before we ever decided to seek God, he had already sought us out. Remember what Jesus said in John 15:16, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit.” God’s favor comes to us unearned, undeserved, and unanticipated. Day 14 - Sunday, October 17th

October 17, 2021

Week 2 // Rebuild Our Hopes // Psalm 34 Confidence “No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.” In Romans 5, the Apostle Paul says that in difficult times, God’s people see their perseverance lead to character, and that character produces hope, “a hope that does not disappoint.” We can have confidence that our hope in Him will not disappoint even when others fail us, not even when we fail ourselves! Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness! How Do I Pray? P R A Y The Bible shows us that prayer will often include our thanksgiving, repentance, adoration, and requests. Day 13 - Saturday, October 16th

October 16, 2021

Week 2 // Rebuild Our Hopes // Psalm 34 Hope In Difficult Times “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” God knows us well. He knows us so well that he knows the number of hairs on our head. The Bible is clear that God’s people will not be exempt from weariness, sickness, loss and troubles of all kinds. But we have God’s promise that the Lord will deliver us from them all. Rest your heart in the knowledge that God sees you, cares for you, and has promised to deliver you from every trouble! God’s heart is compassionate toward everyone in need, so our prayer today can be for those whose needs we know of. Seasons and situations change, but we bless the Lord at all times. To start your day, remember what God has done, remember who He is, and continue to desire Him more than you desire anything else. He has done great things. He is doing great things. He will continue to do good things! How Do I Pray? P R A Y The Bible shows us that prayer will often include our thanksgiving, repentance, adoration, and requests. His goodness and steadfast love are with us, just as He is in front, leading me as a shepherd.
