Hatred, violence, greed, prejudice and malice are words we’re sadly too familiar with. It’s a theme continually woven throughout human history. Better education, technology and financial security have not changed our broken nature. The excruciating death Jesus suffered on the cross was God’s assault on the cause of the world’s brokenness. Because we are helpless to overcome this evil on our own, and because God loves us so very much, He authored a plan to rescue us. And His plan was the only way to silence the hatred.
