With broken English and poor health, Cabrini builds an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.

At the Movies is an annual event at New Hope. Every year we show snippets of popular films and create messages based on the themes from the film. While Hollywood isn’t necessarily known for displaying Biblical truths, it’s amazing how we can find Christian characteristics in the midst of the stories told. This is a fun and popular series, and we look forward to it every year.

It’s about the true story of the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrust into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world.
