During the war in Afghanistan, a local interpreter risks his life to save an American soldier. When the soldier learns the interpreter and his family were not given safe passage to America as promised, he chooses to repay his debt by returning to the war zone to retrieve them before the Taliban hunts them down first. It is a true story of selfless courage and great integrity.

Introduction

We have a fun tradition every summer at New Hope called At the Movies. It’s when we take a look at some of the year’s new films to see where we can find principles to help us grow in our faith. It’s amazing what we can learn by looking through the lens of another person’s story.
