Ruth Ch. 1:9-2:3 - Crossroads
The Road to Redemption!  
CONTEXT MATTERS!
Last week   Ruth 1:14 
3 women weeping at a Cross Road!
Ruth 1:16-17
2 Cor. 7:10 Tears are tears; words are words. Changed lives are the evidence of Repentance!    
Ruth will experience Redemption!   
Orpah will not!
Ruth will travel to the land of Promise, find joy, peace, hope and love there! Orpah will not!    
Ruth will die in the promised land as a child of God and will rest for eternity in Paradise! Orpah will not!

Naomi used to be a joy to be around..
This woman looks and acts much differently

We can’t control the circumstances of life!
WE CAN control how we respond!!
Selfishness and Unforgiveness will lead us to respond in Bitterness
