Bo Noonan teaches in part 4 of "Why, God, why?" Here we find a long monologue by Job that is raw, honest, and all over the place. In his suffering Job is honest before God and he lays it three truths that are worth digging into: 1) Humans have an amazing capacity to explore, 2) humankind has profound limitations, 3) our biggest need is for wisdom...which can only be found in God himself.

As for part 6, we find Job in a place of contriteness before the Lord, and the Lord continuing to see the power, majesty, order, and complete control that he has over all creation - both physical and spiritual. Rather that belittling Job, the Lord is showing him that he is completely dependent upon a God who is personal AND powerful.

His suffering continues, yet Job will not curse God. Instead, he calls out for a mediator and intercessor, and it is here that Job finds, and we find, hope. There is a redeemer, one who makes sense of our suffering, the Suffering Savior, Jesus.
