Bo Noonan continues our "You really believe that?" series by teaching on "The Church we love". In a time where the word "church" is used for lots of different gatherings of people that may or may not actually follow Jesus, we need to look to the Bible for a clear definition. The beautiful picture the Bible paints of the Church is one of a bride who is both getting ready for a wedding ceremony and is deeply, deeply loved by her groom, Jesus. This takes some unpacking, but is both beautiful and challenging as we come under the Bible's authority.

The Christian ethic

He underlines the importance of discerning between cultural and religious rules and morality versus what the Bible clearly lays out as a loving Father's ethics. What does it mean to come under the law of love in a culture that may use the word "love" differently than the Bible? Why is the Christian sexual ethic what it is? We look at some of these questions from a biblical viewpoint.
