New Covenant

April 17, 2022 • Andrew Cullen • Jeremiah 31:31–34

Hope does not keep us from hardships. Hope is for hardships. A covenant is a commitment two people make to one another. The commitment two people make gives them assurance that the hardships of life, the feelings of hurt and helplessness, will not separate them. So covenants give people hope. Jesus offers a New Covenant to us. He will forgive us and transform us with the Holy Spirit. In exchange, we surrender. We recognize we are hurting and helpless. We are in need of a Savior and unable to save ourselves. Jesus is our hope.
