One Another
Living Together in a World of Disunity and Isolation
Bearing with One Another
June 6, 2021 • Pastor Chris McGregor • Ephesians 4:2
What if, instead of leaving when people annoy us or hurt us, we stay? In a world of cancel culture mixed with hyper-individualism, the temptation for each of us is simply to leave community, a family, or a marriage, instead of doing the harder work of reconciliation. We are not speaking about abusive or dangerous behaviour, but rather, the day-to-day mess of marriage, family and a church family.
One Another: Be Devoted
May 23, 2021 • Pastor Chris McGregor • Romans 12:10
Day one of our new series called, "One Another". There are over 50 descriptions of "one another" in the New Testament Scriptures. As we have lived through isolation in a global pandemic, we need to reinforce who and what the Church of Jesus is about. Far from isolationism and a private, individualized faith, the Church of Jesus is described both as a family, and as a body. Join us for several weeks as we piece together some of the framework of who and what the Church is all about--especially relevant for us in the 21st century.
