FOR Renewal // Series FOR__ // Ep.4
September 29, 2024 • Pastor Chris McGregor • Matthew 5:14–16, Matthew 9:35–37
When Jesus taught us to pray, he said, “May your kingdom come and your will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN.”
Followers of Jesus are to partner with God in the renewal of all things.
Our God delights in renovating and renewing people, systems and even cities. When followers of Jesus are intentional, we have the blessing of working for renewal of relationships, families, neighbourhoods and our city. Instead of retreating in privacy and isolation, we are to live for Jesus by shining light wherever God takes us.

It can be very disorienting to feel lonely in a big city like Montréal.
Have you ever been surrounded by hundreds of people on a Metro train but felt alone?
Loneliness not only makes life harder, it also impacts our health.
This Sunday, we talked about the gift of community: “Common Unity"
Unity doesn’t just happen. The Word of God gives us not only a great vision, but a pathway to get there.
FOR Rebels // Series FOR__ // Ep. 2
September 15, 2024 • Pastor Chris McGregor • Luke 15:11–32, Luke 5:31–32
In one of Jesus’ most famous stories, he contrasted two sons and a father.
The story was to designed to describe the two ways that people rebel against God, and bring chaos to our lives. Even more importantly, it was a story designed to describe the character of God as Father. As Jesus tells this parable, it is clear that The Father is nothing like the one that we think about. This Father is FOR Rebels. All kinds of rebels…even religious ones.
FOR You // Series FOR__ // Ep. 1
September 8, 2024 • Pastor Chris McGregor • John 1:35–51
Have you ever wondered how the message of Jesus started?
It was highly improbable that a Jewish Rabbi from Nazareth would lead a movement that would change history. Jesus outlived all the Caesars, and now about 2 Billion people follow this same Rabbi.
John 1 reminds us that the movement started with a simple invitation to “Come and See”. Skeptics, cynics, doubters and religious zealots were invited to meet Jesus for themselves. It is how the movement started, and it is how it is today across the island of Montreal.
You are invited to “Come and See” for yourself. We aren’t a perfect community, but we have found transformation through the person of Jesus.
