Revelation Short Episode 12 The Beast, the Harlot and the Woman

Is the book of Revelation, a little bit confusing to you, hard to follow along, difficult to perceive what is being talked about in this book. For most people, that is the experience that they have when reading and studying the book of Revelation. And there's a reason for that. Let me give you an example. If you go to the theater to watch a play, and you don't know what this play is about, you don't know any of the main characters and a little bit about their background and their purpose within that play. It's going to make that play difficult to watch, to follow along to perceive to comprehend what's going on. And that's why frequently when you attend a play, you walk in and they give you a program. And there you get some background information concerning what is this play about? Who are the main characters, and again, some information about each of these key characters, and perhaps, what they're going to be doing their role within the play.

There is a very important chapter from the book of Revelation. And speaking about Revelation, chapter 12, I received several emails, asking that we would make a revelation short concerning this wealth chapter. And that's exactly what we're going to do in this time of study. Revelation chapter 12, is foundational, because it provides an overview, a general overview for the book of Revelation. And similarly, we see the major message of the book of Revelation being revealed clearly, in chapter 12. Now, I would invite you to take out your Bible, and open it up to the book of Revelation, and chapter 12. But before you read it, you should pray, asking God that he would give you insight and understanding to comprehend this very important chapter, that you would pray prior to reading it. And after completing these 18 verses, and that you wouldn't just read it one time, but that you would read it many times, dealing with the Scripture over and over, is going to give you a better understanding of what God's truth is within any chapter that you study. Now, there's another problem, because if you rely upon commentators, and many of the most famous Christian commentators, when it comes to this 12th Chapter, they have problems.

Moses spoke of the wrath of God, all the prophets, they too spoke of the wrath of God. When we get into the new covenant in the gospels, we see that you're sure that is our Lord and Savior, the very Son of God, he too spoke of God's wrath, as did Paul the Apostle. And many of the other writers of the New Testament, they spoke of God's wrath. But it's not until we get to the book of Revelation, John being the author, that he spoke in some very clear manner concerning the wrath of God, and what the wrath of God would bring about. So it's with this in mind that I'd like to bring to you this latest edition of revelation shorts.
