Luke 22:1-30
Passover was celebrated as a lasting ordinance so the Jews would never forget that God delivered them from slavery in Egypt. Exodus 12:25-27
Heaven, earth, and hell were all present and at work during the last Passover that Jesus celebrated before He was crucified.
The majesty of Jesus’ deity and the humility of His humanity were displayed in the peculiar way Peter and John prepared for the “Last Supper.”
Jesus is our “Passover Lamb.”
John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7-8
The divisive, deceiving spirit in Judas was contagious and caused a schism among the disciples.
The Lord’s supper is supposed to be a lasting ordinance to remind us to stand with Jesus through trials and inherit the kingdom He has prepared for us.
We all must choose to stand with Jesus or fall with Judas.
