Who Is Jesus

Luke 4:14-30

For Jesus, the wilderness was not a place of weakness, but power and victory.

In the synagogue, Jesus declared who He was and what He came to do.  Luke 4:16-18, Galatians 3:26-28

The people in Nazareth failed to recognize who Jesus really was because He was too familiar to them.

In order to live Spirit - empowered lives, we must recognize and have faith in who Jesus is.

In order to live Spirit - empowered lives, we must subdue the flesh.  Hebrews 4:14-16

In order to live Spirit - empowered lives, we must commit ourselves to the mission of Jesus. Luke 6:6, John 18:20, Acts 13:14-15, Acts 14:1, Acts 17:17, Acts 18:4, Matthew 9:37-38, Acts 1:8
