From Regret to Blessing

April 24, 2024 • Tim Miller • Genesis 48

Our lives are filled with regrets. The older we grow, the more our regrets mount—mistakes, sinful choices, unforeseen tragedies, sickness, loss, toil, and death. Looking back on our lives can be a painful and sorrowful endeavor. But there is a way to find joy and peace in the remembrance of our past and bright hope for our future. Join us night as old Jacob’s life in this world comes to a fitting close, and he shows us the path from regret to blessing.

It's All In God's Hands

May 22, 2024 • Dale Jennings • Genesis 50:15–26

There are circumstances that come into our life that seemingly direct our lives in a way we aren't sure God is really there. God did you really mean for this to happen to me? Ultimately everything to the very smallest of details is in God's hands. What we must do is seek the Lord and trust he knows what he is doing. Join us as we look at, whether we realize it or not, It's All In God's Hands.

Resting Place

May 8, 2024 • Matthew McNeil

Jacob has reached the finish line of life. "Bury me with my fathers," was his final request. He had a specific resting place in mind, a place laden with great promise and hope. If the Lord tarries, we will all run the same race and cross the same finish line. Join us as we examine and find hope in our "Resting Place."

Divine Providence of God

May 1, 2024 • Dale Jennings • Genesis 49:1–27

We want what is best for our children, don't we? The greatest desire we should have is that they would come to repentance of their sins and surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus. We teach, we love, we pray, and we probably shed some tears along the way as we ask God to work in their lives. As they grow up and mature, we have to let them learn the hard way sometimes and soon they will leave the nest and we have to trust in God's divine providence in their lives. Join us as Jacob, on his deathbed, prepares his sons for the future that is ahead for them and the divine providence of God in their lives.
