Step 2. CONVERSATION: Call Someone (Family/Friend)

Communicate with someone who is also a part of your church community and let them know that you are ready to come back. Keep in mind, you don't have to let anyone know you are ready to come back, but telling someone you are coming back creates an expectation for your return and connects you with accountability. More importantly, your return commitment is to Christ, but also in Community. Ask yourself, who can I call to let them know I am headed back to Church on Sunday?

Step 1. CONTEMPLATION: Think About the Reason(s)

What is the reason YOU stop attending Church? Studies have proven that people often stop attending church for several reasons. Below are 6 reasons people stop attending! 1. Shame 2. Leadership Disagreement 3. Frustration 4. Life Changes 5. A Wrong View of the Church 6. Spouse Desires Change of Ministry Although these are not concrete, these are common reasons. Ask yourself, if I have been playing hookie from the church, is it because of one of these SIX reasons?

Step 3. CONFIRMATION: Show Up Like You Said

Now that you have made the commitment to stop playing hookie from church, don't allow ANYTHING or ANYONE to cause you to break that commitment. Show up to church on Sunday by getting ready on Saturday, We look to see you back in the place at MABCBK!
