Free HIV/AID Testing

Annually MABCBK partners with an organization that specializes in HIV/AID testing and brings the testing truck to the church block and allows residents and others to take rapid test. Everything is confidential and people leave feeling empowered. In the event that someone test positive, they are immediately connected with a counseling service independent of MABCBK to assist them with further actions. We care about those we serve!

COVID19 Testing Site

Since the beginning of the COVID19 Pandemic in 2020, MABCBK has partnered with both city and state level organizations to provide FREE testing for residents. These experiences have allowed MABCBK to serve over 1000 people since 2020. We will continue to allow our space to serve as a testing site and will continue to keep the community informed. Elected Officials Information Night

Many times local residents are disconnected from their local elected officials. Throughout the year we will gather the elected officials together and select a night for them to attend and inform the community of their legal rights as residents. In addition, this space provide opportunities for residents to personally meet and address their concerns to the elected officials.

Newborn Gifts

Beginning in 2022 MABCBK launched our Newborn Gifts Program. We will provide necessary items to new mothers and they will be delivered to local hospitals. We also will include information for the parents in the event they desire to have their child dedicated at MABCBK. The purpose is not to PROMOTE the Christian faith, but the purpose is to PROVIDE the necessary need.
