WIRED with Wanja provides space and a voice to women from all walks of life, across all continents who admit they are active in their recovery from substance abuse and problematic behaviors. The admission led them on a new path to freedom. Each episode highlights a woman and her story to show how she is now a woman in recovery every day (WIRED).
In collaboration with Most High Media’s Leslie Janson, based on Wanja’s recovery journey where she learned that her need to escape was stemming from the pain of past events, long-buried and disregarded. Wanja eventually found solace in alcohol; the vision is for the podcasts to navigate recovery of the mind, body, and soul. It is about empowerment, breaking generational cycles, and healing. Recovery is beyond abstaining from substances and behaviors. It is about taking intentional actions sufficient for lasting organic change, no matter the circumstances we are yet to face. The most extraordinary form of courage is to ask for help. You are not alone. Let us connect.
