Dan Francis is a local restaurant owner who has partnered with Hannah Heart Disaster Relief referred to as the #panhandlepastaproject Dan has mobilized a boots on the ground effort to provide food assistance into rural areas immediately following devastating hurricanes. Significant national resources take a few days to mobilize into areas where there aren't that many people.

Consequently, after a major storm, thousands of people that are not in urban city centers could go hungry during a time that they have no power, no way to get around, and perhaps no place to stay.
