What’s the Point of the Walls if We’re No Different?

As little as we like it, conflict management is a part of life, but disagreements don't just happen outside the church, they happen in it too (Maybe even more often). Yet, the way the church handles conflict and disagreements should be different from the rest of society. The church should do it in a way that is loving and honors God. This week pastor Ivey shows us from Nehemiah 5 how Nehemiah confronts major issues inside the people of God in a way that honors the Lord.

Not So Happily Ever After

At the end of Nehemiah, he comes back to see how Jerusalem is doing. When he returns he finds that it is an absolute mess. The people fell back on everything they had promised God. We will learn a lot about good leadership and our true hope in life.

God had been so good to them and their only reasonable response was worship with many may have classified as "over-the-top" celebration. Define the Relationship
