Advent 1 - Prophetic People

For many of us, we think of prophets as those weird people who foretold the future. The reality is that most of the great OT & NT people were viewed as prophets or prophetic. Abraham, Moses, Samual, David, Nehemiah, Isaiah, etc…, all, were great prophets. But, not only were the individuals prophetic, the stories themselves were also prophetic. The story of Abram & Sarah. The story of the flood. The story of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the wall. One of the greatest prophetic stories was the story of Esther.
