The Days Are Coming

On Sunday, November 24, 2024, we are preparing for the seasons of Advent and Christmas with “The Days Are Coming,” a hanging of the greens worship experience. This service of scripture readings and songs will take place at 9:15 AM on site and online (www.mstarlc.church) and 11:15 AM on site as we decorate the sanctuary with the the greenery of this time of year. All are welcome as we prepare our hearts to hear and live the Christmas story once more.

Shine

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, we are observing our annual Back-to-School Blessing with a service called, "Shine." The message is rooted in Matthew 5:14-16, and the order of the day includes prayers for students, parents, teachers and staff members of all grades and ages. Children of God

On Sunday, May 26, 2024, we celebrate the work of the Trinity with a service called, "Children of God." The message is rooted in Romans 8:12-17 and includes a celebration of Morning Star's graduating high school seniors. Let It Be

A two-week worship series called, “Let It BE: Welcoming the Spirit,” will begin on Sunday, May 12 as we consider what it means to acknowledge and cooperate with the Holy Spirit in our lives. The first message in the series, “I Am the Lord's Servant,” is rooted in Luke 1:26-38. Contemporary worship will take place in person and online (http://www.mstarlc.church/) at 9:15 AM, and traditional worship will take place in person at 11:15 AM. Both services will include an observance of Mother's Day. All are welcome!
