NOT SELF-HELP, BUT NEW LIFE

September 23, 2021 • Stacy Ludwig, Brooke Gage, Amy Whitehouse

Who doesn’t want freedom from addictive behaviors, compulsive thinking, or sin patterns? Who is just plain tired of always feeling anxious or angsty? Who wants to experience growth and new life? Brooke Gage brought her friend and co-worker, Amy Whitehouse to talk with Stacy about a new ministry launching at Mission Hills. It is called Re:Generation. It is a culmination of what Brooke and Stacy have been discussing regarding personal whole health and the connection with community. Titus 3:4-5 “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”

WHY AM I STUCK?

June 10, 2021 • Stacy Ludwig

As we have been learning about self-care and engaging in healthy community, we are at a halfway point in the year. The perfect time to take a pause and figure out if we are able to apply the things we have been learning. If we can’t, it is because we are stuck? We can get all the advice and training from the most experienced individuals in their fields, but if we are stuck, we can’t apply what we learned and move forward. Join Stacy as she discusses five different ways we get stuck. We need these times of pause to be reminded that we need God, we need others, and we might also need to make some changes.

INTENTIONAL MENTORING

May 27, 2021 • Stacy Ludwig, Coletta Smith

One of the ways that we can be intentional with relationships and community is healthy intentional mentoring. It is something we are called to do no matter what age we are. It is also something that is so organic it can be hard to feel confident about whether or not we are doing it “right.” So, why not look to those that have a lifetime of experience and learn from them. Ironically that is what mentoring is all about! So, Stacy invited Coletta Smith to share with us some great guidelines and tips for successful mentoring. If you have desired to be mentored and just didn’t know where to begin, or if you have ever considered mentoring someone but just didn’t feel confident in how to do it, this is an episode you don’t want to miss.

Brooke brings some really practical information to us with tangible action points, so you are going to want to take some notes. The great thing is that you can come back to this and listen again, and pause where you need to when you have carved out the time to sit down and really work on the conversations you didn’t know you were having.
