Hunger

Pray that God will create a hunger for the Word in student's hearts: - that they would see its importance - for understanding by the Spirit - that they will hear and respond

Awaken

Pray that God will awaken in students a desire to know Him: - to really know The Lord and His heart - that they would have a sense of necessity and dependence on Him - understand God’s purposes and ways

Family

Pray that God will strengthen family relationships: - with parents - between siblings - for healthy communication - that youth will see the value of family

Gospel

Pray that students will understand the Gospel: - that they will have confidence to speak about Jesus - to see their friends’ need for Christ - that their message will be clear - that God will use them to advance the Kingdom

Discern

Pray that students will have discernment: - that their faith will impact decisions - wisdom to both know what’s right and to do it - they they will embrace the idea of being ‘set apart’ - protection from deception - a desire for Truth

Conviction

Pray that students will be convicted of sin: - a sensitivity towards the Holy Spirit - a desire to be Christlike - awareness of compromise - they they will shine brightly

Meaningful

Pray that students will pursue meaningful relationships: - understand their shared purpose - genuine love for one another - accountability and encouragement

Trouble

Pray for other parents going through the hard stuff: - perseverance in the difficulties - wisdom and patience - dependency and trust in the Lord - growing faith (not "shipwrecked" faith)

Team

Pray for the Youth Team: Rodney Eslinger and Stacey Eslinger, Isaac and Teena Hogue, Brian Weil, Marc Lilge - wisdom - understanding of Scripture - understanding of youth - understanding of the culture - patience
