Revelation 12

John begins to explain that from the very beginning Satan’s mission has always been to destroy the Anointed One, the Christ of God, in order to prevent the Redemption of mankind. Consequently he has repeatedly tried to destroy the Jewish people from whom the Messiah would come.

Lesson 1 - God’s Promises Revealed

Revelation 1

Revelation is the only book of Scripture in which God promises a blessing just for reading it and putting it in to practice! Through it, God not only reveals his plan for the future, he also reveals the person of Jesus Christ - the one who holds that future!

Lesson 2 - The God Who Sees

Revelation 2:1–11

As we cover the first two of the seven churches Christ addressed in Revelation we learn that He is indeed the God who sees. He is with us, He loves us and He understands all that we face! But He wants us to trust Him and hold to the promises in His Word even unto death, if need be, for in Him we have strength for the present and the assurance of a future where we will see Him face to face!

Lesson 3 - Jesus is Our Provider

Revelation 2:12–29, Revelation 3:1–6

In this lesson Jesus speaks to the churches in Pergamum, Thyatira and Sardis. Two were struggling with false teachers and compromise, but Sardis suffered from none of these things! They had no accusers, no struggles, no persecution, no false apostles! This was not because they were doing everything right! Far from it! Satan didn't have to bother with them because the church in Sardis was fast asleep! Jesus urged them to wake up!
