Luke 24:32 NEB ���Did we not feel our hearts on fire?"
The Great need of the Church today is for Hearts to be on fire for the Risen Jesus. WHY do I say that? Well think about it ��� Knowledge has never been greater in the Church. We have the benefit of nearly 2,000 years of accumulated scholarship. We have numerous Christian colleges and universities. We have information available to us on any subject relevant to the Bible and the Christian faith ��� massive numbers of books and books, and numerous translations of the Bible. I have just under 4,000 volumes on my laptop ��� on just one piece of software!
We have Christian music of any style. We have Christian Radio and TV and webcasts and podcasts. We have all the equipment to be strongest generation of Christians. But as we look at 21st century Western Christianity ��� it has perhaps in many ways never been weaker.
