As we learned last Sunday, the beatitudes are not quaint sayings of suggested wisdom. Rather, they are descriptions of people who are living under the rule and reign of King Jesus.  In one of the beatitudes, Jesus tells us that His people are peacemakers. Peacemaking takes intentional work, and this Sunday we will hear from Rick Stein, former lawyer and former head of the Alliance Peacemaking Ministries on how we can become the people Jesus is describing in this beatitude.
