Join us for our annual Family Conference!
While our post-Christian culture spins faster and faster, we are praying that our kids will be resilient, faithful followers of a Messiah who walked this earth over 2,000 years ago. What parenting principles and practices stand the test of time, and where to do we need to flex so our modern children can embrace the Good News of Jesus and follow Him with courage and conviction for their entire lives? We'll take a look together at some of the cultural shifts we're seeing today and consider how we hang on to "something old" while bringing in "something new" to our parenting.
Guest Speaker: Jessi Borchardt
Jessi has spent the past 23 years raising three children with her husband, Brad. Living in tiny Rib Lake, Wisconsin, she is the proud mom of teens and young adults. As she navigates the transition to becoming an empty nester, Jessi continues to cherish the joys and challenges of parenting.
One of her greatest honors is helping children—her own and those in the church—come to a saving faith in Jesus and live victorious lives walking with Him. Jessi works and serves in children’s ministry in three roles: as the Children’s Ministry Connector for the Western Great Lakes District of the C&MA, Director of Discovery Land Global, and Children’s Ministry Coordinator for Woodland Community Church.
