Middle School students are invited to join us and about 100 other Middle School Students from the Western Great Lakes District (Our district of the Christian & Missionary Alliance) at Silver Birch Ranch for the fall retreat! Come to study God's Word with speaker, Heather Flies, to spend time with friends (new and old), and to enjoy the activities at Silver Birch Ranch!

About the Speaker: Heather Flies is in her 28th year ministering to Junior High students at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN. She LOVES students and people in general! Outside the walls of Wooddale, Heather spends a great deal of time and energy as a communicator. During the school year, she is invited to local schools to speak on abstinence, self-esteem, and other current issues. She also encourages women in all seasons of life, trains youth workers, and helps parents understand how to love their teenagers well. In addition, Heather authored, a book for parents, I Want to Talk to My Teen About Girl Stuff and a book for teenagers That’s What She Said/That’s What He Said. FUN STUFF: Heather loves football, dominating on the tennis court, Tigger, and listening to Christmas music 11 months out of the year. She owns 319 bottles of nail polish and 98 pairs of shorts (which she wears all winter long!) She is the daughter of a long-distance truck driver, the youngest of six children, and grew up in southern Minnesota. Heather lives in Minnesota with her husband, Chad, and their two St. Bernards.
We will be leaving Menomonie Alliance Friday afternoon and returning Sunday afternoon.

PARENT/GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION By registering your student, you agree to the following authorization: I hereby authorize my student to attend the AY Sprinter Retreat. I understand that in the event of an accident or emergency, every effort will be made to contact me as soon as possible. If contact cannot be made, I authorize the youth director to give specific consent to any diagnosis, treatment, or hospital care deemed necessary by a duly licensed physician. I agree to release Menomonie Alliance Church from any liabilities involved, and allow them to use pictures and video of my child at this event in future promotional material. In the event disciplinary actions are necessary, I will be responsible for any cost incurred due to the actions of my child. I also realize that I may be contacted at any time to come and pick up my child as a disciplinary measure, if deemed appropriate by the youth director.
