In the passage, Jesus heals a woman and brings a girl back to life. This came of desperation and Laura explains that these people were not unlike us. When we're looking for healing or a miracle, we too look to Jesus and he helps us.

Pastor Chris leads us as we continue our series, "Who is Jesus?" Chris explains how this week is about having faith. People didn't have faith in Jesus, but when he got them to have faith he was able to use it to spread the word of the lord even more through them. But the ultimate message is about power and how Jesus uses it.

Chris explains how we are meant to look directly to Jesus and the power that has. He talked about our need for Jesus, and how when things look their darkest, we will do anything. We will plead to Jesus and do whatever we can.

He's able to use his wife's fandom of the Philadelphia Flyers and his love for the Pittsburgh Penguins to segue into the Lord's word. Jesus wants us to love everyone because everyone is made in the image of God is what Ryan explains.

Chris looked at the question of certainty. He explains that this holiday needs to have a response. "Today, millions and millions around the world will claim that he has risen." The reason for that is because of how people have responded to Luke's gospel.
