We see in 2 Chronicles 20 that the Lord gave a strategy to Jehosaphat's army, when their worries were great, that involved pausing and releasing control. We too, can practice this self-control today and worship even in the midst of looming difficulties.

When a local shark attack hits the news, the popularity of the related beach plummets in the weeks following. Consequently, when there’s a repetition of ongoing incidences, the level of hesitation always rises for the average swimmer. In many ways, this hesitation relates to a current generation’s concerns with “church” in light of scandals, abuse, and pastoral disappointment. In this message, we discuss Paul’s urgency in 1 Corinthians 3 to build for God’s Kingdom with lasting materials. This includes the key ingredient of accountability alongside a practical commitment that Media City Church will aim to be one of the small solutions in regards to a large problem.
