May 7, 2023 • Jon Ritner

Is it possible that the hurried, fast paced, 24/7 hustle harder culture that we live in is not only unhealthy, but actually inhumane? Throughout the pages of scripture, God offers an antidote for the type of burnout, anxiety, and exhaustion that has become so prevalent in America today. The Goodness Of God In Diversity

April 30, 2023 • Kalli Davis

Throughout scripture we see that God sends his people and uses diversity as a means for restoration and healing. We are one body with many parts, unified and diverse. When looking at the Tower of Babel we once again see God’s goodness through the reigning in of oppressive uniformity and a renewed diversity propelling people outward. When people sought to live outside personal boundaries, wanting to be God themselves, God redirected them to a place within limits but a place of freedom to multiply. God reaffirms our calling to be “his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” as seen in Ephesians.

No Lone Rangers

April 16, 2023 • T.D. Davis

God’s Kingdom is counterintuitive, which means as His rule and reign intersects with our everyday life, there’s often times costly and unnatural implications in regards to the default culture we might be used to. A great example of this would be faith as it intersects with our natural bias to American individualism. How have we potentially assumed faith through a lens that perpetuates a “Lone Ranger” type of spirituality in regards to Jesus, the church, and ministry leadership? In this message, T.D. Davis (co-lead pastor) reminds us that God’s nature and original purpose assumes corporateness and therefore, is incompatible with any notion of spiritual individualism as we grow as followers of Jesus.
