Artists tell the story of our culture. Historically, the Church and the arts shared a healthy and thriving relationship. Missio Dei believes that engaging the culture requires relational capital with the storytellers of our city and is one of the primary reasons we gather in an arts building. Essex Studios will be opening up for two weekends in Oct and Dec for their “Art Walk” showcases. This is a great opportunity for us to practice hospitality, build friendships, and learn from our neighbors with the hopes that the Gospel of Jesus will relationally make its way into the stories our friends at Essex will tell. What we're looking for is people to serve as greeters for this event and people to make coffee. We will split the servings times into a few shifts. Use the above form to let us know you're willing and able to serve for this event and we will assign shifts. You can select your preferred day as the selection. The event will take place on December 2nd & December 3rd from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
