Built Up
August 11, 2024 • Pastor Cameron Ward • Ephesians 4:11–16
Have you ever asked these questions: "What is my purpose?" "Why on earth am I here?" "Why do I need to go to church?" "Ok, I've accepted Jesus, now what?" These questions tend to come up when we're confused about who we are and what we are supposed to do. If we desire to have a clear understanding on why we're here and what we're supposed to do, then we have to have a clear picture of our role, and our purpose. So what is it? Tune in to find out...

Good News. Bad News.
July 28, 2024 • Pastor Cameron Ward • Ephesians 2:1–10
We live in a culture that focus on how the good news applies to us, and the bad news applies to everyone else. Whether you're turning on MSNBC, FOX, CNN, ABC, or any other news source, their slant is always "we're right, they're wrong." Our culture focuses on why other people are messed up, because if we were to look internally and see the bad news about us, we would have to admit we need mercy. You will never understand how good the good news is, until you realize how bad the bad news is. The bad news is what makes the good news good. Today we focus on how sweet, wonderful, and awesome the good news is, by first addressing the truth of the bad news. So tune in, we got news to share.
Abundant Prayer, Abundant Life
July 21, 2024 • Katie Yore • Ephesians 1:15–23
Today we examine a prayer of Paul at the beginning of His letter to the Ephesians. This prayer gives us a glimpse not only into Paul's heart for the region of Ephesus but also into God's desires for you and I. His prayer starts with thanksgiving for the love of God being manifest in the people of God, then goes into a petition for the people of God to truly know God and continually grow in the revelation of God. This seems like a good prayer, but the reality of the "Why" behind the prayer is what we're examining today. What is the true evidence of those who have faith in God? What is the evidence of those know God more? What is the evidence of those who increase in their revelation of God? Tune in to find out.

It's Easier Than You Think
June 9, 2024 • Pastor Cameron Ward • Galatians 2:11—3:5
Faith in Jesus is all about trusting in Jesus for everything. But many of us make it about so many other things. We exchange the greatest of Christ, for the lie of self-indulgence or the lie of self-righteousness. Today we look at an argument between two giants of the faith, that ended with all the followers of Jesus being given a new name. Tune it to check it out!
Humility Not Popularity
June 2, 2024 • Pastor Cameron Ward • Galatians 1:10—2:10
Following Jesus is not about "doing," it's about "overflowing." The question is, what is overflowing from your life? Today we continue to examine the book of Galatians, looking closely at what is sometimes called "Paul's defense of His Gospel." This section of Galatians gives us 4 test we can apply anytime we hear something, read something, or even examine our own lives to see if the overflow is the Holy Spirit or something else entirely.
No Other Gospel
May 26, 2024 • Pastor Cameron Ward • Galatians 1:6–9
Possibly the oldest book of the New Testament is a letter Paul sent to the church in Galatia in 48 AD. We call it "Galatians." This book although talking about wonderful things such as our "sonship in Christ," the "fruit of the spirit," and being "heirs of the promise," is one of the strongest, most passionate critiques of the churches in all of Paul's letters. Why? Because the Gospel of Christ was being distorted and attacked for a different gospel, which is no gospel at all. Today we start our Summer Book Club by examining the setting for the book of Galatians and reading it together. Join us as we make much of His Word together!
