The Time is Now

Be Courageous

December 29, 2019 • Pastor Clarence E. Stowers, Jr.

In life, in our history, in our experience and in everything we do, oftentimes a single act of courage is the tipping point for something extraordinary. Jesus came to earth not only to die for our sins but to also show us how to "BE" Kind. Generous. Courageous. Together.

Overcoming Financial Strongholds

February 2, 2020 • Pastor Clarence E. Stowers, Jr.

Financial bondage is usually the result of incorrect beliefs about money. Romans 12:2 offers the solution: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." If you change what you believe about money -- turning away from what the culture wants you to believe and toward what God wants to teach you -- you'll be transformed, radically changed from the inside out. Remember, Jesus came to earth not only to die for our sins but to also show us how to "BE" Kind. Generous. Courageous. Together.

February 4, 2020 • Pastor Clarence E. Stowers, Jr.

During last Sunday's worship, it shifted and Pastor Stowers encouraged people to "say the things they need to say." Kobe Bryant and others aboard that chopper reminds us that life is unpredictable, and for some, brief. Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes, according to James 4:14. Check out this inspiring clip, and afterward, call/text someone and say the things you need to say.

Winning The War Within

January 19, 2020 • Pastor Clarence E. Stowers, Jr.

It’s all in your head. But what if that’s a good thing? Too often we’re prisoners to our thoughts: those voices telling us to worry, that we aren’t good enough, or that we can’t ever change our behavior. But "Winning The War Within", shines a light on the strongholds that hold us down and gives us the tools we need to shatter them. Through the healing power of Christ and some practical applications, we can rewire our brain to become the person God designed us to be. Remember, Jesus came to earth not only to die for our sins but to also show us how to "BE" Kind. Generous. Courageous. Together.
