Fr. Thomas Celso entered St. Bernard Seminary in 1974, encountered the Divine Will in 1976 and got ordained in 1979. He served parishes in upstate New York. In 1994, he collaborated with the Secretariat of the Cause in Italy on the promotion of Luisa Piccarreta, the Servant of God. He was present when the Cause of Luisa opened in 1994. Under the guidance of the then-Cardinal Ratzinger, he was invited to assist in 1996 with the copying of Luisa's original manuscripts located at the Vatican's Secret Archives. He additionally went to the Diocese's 2005 closing of the Cause of Luisa Piccarreta. Fr. Celso conducts retreats and days of reflection on Luisa Piccarreta, a Servant of God, and the Divine Will throughout the US and Europe. In 2016, he became a member of the Third Order Benedictine Oblate of the Divine Will. He offers Holy Mass and Confession to professors and students at the neighborhood schools in East Rochester, New York, on a weekly basis as a retired senior priest.
