Don’t offer him a drink. • POSITIVELY, speak hope to him. It’s confidence he needs, not sympathy. • PERSONALLY, speak from your own experience. It’s not a sermon he needs, but an example. • INCLUSIVELY, speak to include him, rather than exclude him. We are all in the same boat. • CONFIDENTLY, speak absolute confidence in God, rather offering the vague lifeline of “faith”. ASk: What do you need today from Jesus?
